Online Communication, Business Assessment
Hi everyone!
For today's assignment, I will actually be researching the company that I myself work for. However, I will be stepping back as an employee and researching from an unbiased point of view.
Today, I will be researching MeridianLink Inc., a financial software company based out of Costa Mesa, California.
Meridanlink has a very communicative social status, containing a LinkedIn account, a Twitter account, and a Facebook page.
When you open Meridianlink's website (https://www.meridianlink.com), you are greeted with their homepage which immediately shows you their line of products and offers you the opportunity to schedule a demo:
This immediately shows you what they offer and provides the potential customer an opportunity to learn more.
Next, we have the middle of the page:
This section offers the potential customer to see real-life statistics related to the products Meridianlink offers, along with videos and and actual client testimonies. This allows potential clients to determine whether an investment in the products is worthwhile or not.
Finally, we have the bottom of the page:
This section focuses on the webinars/blogs portion of the website, which contains more casual anecdotes about the product and formal webinars from employees. It also contains a clear and concise "Contact Us" section in case a potential client decides that they want to become an actual client after scrolling through the examples and testimonies on the site.
In conclusion, Meridianlink clearly communicates its identity online. It does this through testimonies from actual clients, statistics and analytics, and drop down sections at the top of the page that allow a potential client to find whatever information they are looking for.
Now I don't want to sound biased at all, but I really do not see anything Meridianlink can improve on. They have everything a potential client would need to make their decision on whether to buy their product or not.
